I read an interesting quote from Aristotle the other day, he said: “Wherever I go, there I am.” At first I didn’t understand what he meant by that, because I thought, of course I am where I am! But then I thought about it one step further and realized that most people are not where they actually are. Because their body is in one place and their thoughts are somewhere else. They perform a task, but their thoughts are elsewhere, they’re not focusing on what they are doing.

This is the reason why so many people get so little done in a day. Because their thoughts are in the future, what they can do, what has already happened, what they should have done, instead of focusing on what is front of them right now. And what is getting done, isn’t done as well as it could have been done.

What do you think about doing as I do and start practicing the idea, starting today, that “Wherever I go, there I am”. It was good enough for Aristotle so it is good enough for me. Let your thoughts stay where your body is all day, and focus on what you are doing.

Good luck!
