AfricaFood - Unlocking Agricultural Innovation and Potential
With the current model, Africa is importing around $100 Billion worth of food every year, projected to increase to $150 Billion annually by 2030. The fastest way to bring positive change to a continent where millions of people are malnourished or starving, is to keep that capital and the jobs it will create. AfricaFood is a pioneering and purpose driven initiative launched in 2022 committed to transforming agriculture across Africa and linking farmers to buyers. We want to create a new model that makes the current one obsolete and our mission is to connect innovative solutions with the continent's pressing challenges, bolstering sustainable development and economic growth. It is an effort to unite Africa, strengthen the economy and establish self sufficiency, by working with the intelligence of local people and bringing to them what they need to build the future they want to live in. Purpose: Africa, the cradle of sustainable food, to inspire the world. |
