Nábúi means neighbour
Nabui is an ancient nordic word that means simply means neighbour. Neighbours care for each other and we chose it as a name partly because the founding team of nábúi is from the nordics, but mainly because we feel it represents what we want to put forth: That we are all neighbours in this world..That is not just something that sounds nice to say, in todays world with all our technology, ways of travel and interconnected economies, it is literally true.
His holiness, The Dalai Lama said it well when he explained his thoughts on the concept of peace:
"Today everything is interdependent, from nation to nation to continent to continent, all are heavily interdependent. Today, no nation or people is our enemy, rather part of ourself. Therefore, destruction of enemy is actually destruction of our own self."
